This is what it took, twenty eight days! Yup, February is now over and we are on our way to spring (at least where i live). It was one slow month for me, blog-wise i mean. I was here and absent and then here again. I guess everybody has his ups and downs. But, still, you guys kept coming back. Am i lucky to have loyal readers or what? Even when i didn’t comment on your blogs you still came and posted a few words. I think this is what makes this small blog powerful and fun to work with.
Without further due though, i shall introduce the new MOTM. That is my dear, Ausie friend, Sire with 16 comments! We had quite a few conversations this past month and that was the reason he hit the top. Thanks for keep coming back man and posting all the useful comments (and bugs
). I would also like to thank every other reader though for commenting. I really appreciate it all!
Now, i hope this month i will be more active and post more things. Already, i have a couple of posts on a draft pending a final review, among them a webhosting tutorial for all of you guys out there feeling lost when it comes to choosing a webhost. So, stay tuned!
So here we are again. The first 1/12th of the year has gone by and, to be honest, it was not one of my most productive ones. But, what can you do, i’ve been thrown some curveballs this month on my professional and online life. On the contrary, on my personal life, i am better than good so the tradeoff is fair. Although i haven’t been around much this month you have been as loyal as before. Without further due, this month’s MOTM is Raju with 14 comments! I would like to thank you all, especially Raju, for coming back here. I must add that i was very touched by all of you showing concern when i was “lost” for a few days. This means that, although by the definition of the term “Friends” we are totaly strangers, we stick together and care for each other. So, friends it is! I would like to thank you all for that. Stick around and i will be back (that’s a threat!).
One more month has gone by and here i am with the new “Member Of The Month”. This is something i started back in July and it seems i will keep since it’s a way of giving back to you guys, my readers and commenters. This month, since all the holiday has taken over me (the whole world actually but we are talking about me now) and i forgot to come up with the new MOTM in time. I would have remembered eventually but it would be late. I was reminded though by the rightful winner of this month. With no further due, MOTM of the month December is Raju with 19 comments! You can see his banner on the right widget and the link on the updated motm page. So, thanks Raju for comming back and commenting!
In other news, as you might have found out by this comment from the current top commenter, Raju, this blog has a PR of 3 now. I don’t value Google’s strategy of valuing blogs but i must admit this is something that shows me that i am doing something here after over almost a year. One more thing i’d like to let you all guys know is that the lack of posts the past few days is not because i have run out of things to write about but it seems i have run out of words to express my self. So, i figure that i better sit back and relax for a few days till my writing skills come back to me rather than start a goose chase on them that will only decrease the value of my posts. That’s it i’m done rumbling. Have a happy new year (again) and congrats to Raju!
Edit: I got rid of the CAPTCHA thing for the comments and added a more humane math thingy. Tell me how it works out for you.
December strikes in and I am still here. Thrirty days have gone by and November was a decent month for me. First of all, commenting numbers dropped a little but that is fine, I guess, as long as you are still with me guys. Anyway, this month’s top commenter is Kim Woodbridge with 11 comments. Here, I would like to take the chance and thank Kim, Mr. Mike Nichols and Ms. Yael Miller for teaming up with me and helping me develop nice plugins. They have been very nice and kind and i want to give them a very warm thank you. So, congrats Kim! Keep it up!
In other news, November was plugin month. I released two of them (YAFootnotes and “My Tag Cloud“) that were endorsed by the people and brought in quite a few traffic. I met a few new friends and made some nice new online friendships. All in all, it was a good month.
For next month’s MOTM i am preparing something special, a small gift for the new year (i’ll have a small post in the next few days), so keep on coming back and… keep on commenting!!
Once more, one more… I am late this month i know. But, you must have read my recent micros about internet connection problems. Well, the whole weekend was a mess connection-wise and i couldn’t browse the internet (so much for blogging!). And the new Member of the Month is…. “Stathis” with 11 comments. As usual his banner is up and a link is there on the MOTM page. Giannou was close but as it seems Stathis made a comment the last moment
So, congrats to him and hope to see you guys all around!
