101 Sociable links for manual insertion in WordPress

A few months back i had a post about how to get rid of your sociable plugins and doing the same thing by editing your theme. In that post i have included a few popular sociable networks such as Digg and Stumbleuppon but today i have decided to include as much as possible, 101 to be exact. You can go through them and decide which ones you want to use. The links are included as they should be in your theme. Take a look at the older post on how to do it and get the links from here.

I used the Sociable plugin source code to extract the links. You can also find images for the links herein here (also from the same plugin): 101 Sociable images (2115) - 82.18 KB

As an example of how to use it, here is one with Digg:

    Whoa..! very long list. But I feel using a small plugin to be better..

    It can serve better than linking in each and every social bookmarking site.

    However I never got round to it and Thaya actually got round to making it PHP friendly as well, so I had no need to do it!

    Though yes more inbuilt stuff vs Plugins is always better, less external resources causing a breakage.

    If you are talking about Socialble plugin, I will never suggest using it. Beacuse within no time people are use to it. And now I will call it social button blindness.

    This is great and very useful. I remember looking at blogs having this customized social bookmark links instead of using a plugin.

    I added few, but this links is awesome can pick any one.

    Thanks Stratos. I got rid of sociable as I read your last post. I adapted the wording a bit to suit my personality, and I think it’s great that I now have a selection of sites to add.

    This post is exactly what I was looking for and even though its quite old still relevent.

    I much prefer manual insertion over a plugin as you get a lot more control to insert the social sites you want, where you want and have it display exactly how you want it. It’s also one less plugin needed.
