Yah joining a group because you want to be a part of a “group” then that’s fine. But joining a quote is another thing…

I know exactly what you mean. Ones like “I hate when someone texts back k” or groups to get facebook to add a dislike button.

I like them for causes, teams, etc that I’m interested in but otherwise it just becomes too much.

I can see what you mean but still there are other ways of doing that rather than joining groups. That’s why i said that groups are a way of grouping people! Duh! Thanks for dripping by and also noticing the problem with the comments

Well, you said it all. There’s no point to join actually stupid groups just because you like a quote or something. But I can see the need of users to join certain groups with particular titles so they can show their friends etc some thoughts, feelings etc. You know. I think that’s the main reason behind the whole thing. Or maybe “trend”.
