The bad thing is, that many people see IRC networks as places to meet new girlfriends/boyfriends. That is certainly not what IRC is about. Now, I've been experimenting with IRC daemons, and actually its pretty easy to create your own too. But what I tried to do, is modify the Unrealircd source code so that I could change the commands, just for the sake of doing it. I have to say, that still I haven't managed it... maybe because I'm not searching enough! Actually IRC is kinda leet, and is fun to work with.
